We all love sourdough, but have just gone without because of a few directions I've seen here or there that sounded too hard. The "simplicity" in the title intrigued and wow, it really is simple. Not as many baking recipes with sourdough as I'd hope, but when you can't preview it in advance, you'll always get a surprise. Not always a great one ;-)
I like to read cookbooks & this one meets my requirements. The recipes are clearly written & entertaining.

Finished my first 2 loaves of bread this morning. Very pleased with my 1st attempt. Easy to follow recipe but take the time to plan out the timeframe you will need to follow and you are good to go.

Love the step by step instructions! I've actually never tried baking sourdough bread before as I thought it was only something your purchased at the store. This book will have anyone baking the most amazing bread in no time. If I can do it, anyone can! Additional recipes open up the endless possibilities of what you can do with your starter. Truly makes sourdough baking simple! Rose Godfrey takes all the years of knowledge of making sourdough recipes and drills them down for those with little to some experience in baking can make their own sourdough starter and recipes! Love this book. It's becoming a staple cookbook on my shelf.
